Zavallı Vassel "Bir yanlış mı yaptım acaba neden ayrılıyorum?" diye sormuş Otel müdürüde "problem sizinle ilgili değil bugün klüp yönetimi ile bir görüşme yapıcaz ama sizin çıkmanız gerekiyor" demiş.

Şöyle de eklemiş; "I have all my bags packed. My heart tells me to stay here and play football for the fans but my bags are all packed and I wonder sometimes whether I should go back home. But tomorrow I hope somebody will explain to me what is happening and we can resolve the situation.

"I'm not sure [if I will return to England]. It's difficult. First of all I don't speak the language so I can't hear anything that's happening."

"Today there was a problem, there was no training today and there was different communications. Some people thought there was training, some people thought there wasn't."

"I know there has been a change of ownership and perhaps that is part of the problem. Until everybody is organised and everyone is settled down perhaps it will be like this.

"My heart tells me I must stay here and play here. The fans made a big deal for me to come here and play and I can't abandon them now because I love football and I love playing football here in Turkey and I am sure my future is here."
